The AP Acceleration Program is a free opportunity designed for Philadelphia public high school students who will be taking an AP class during the upcoming academic year. It’s a great way to build a strong foundation and get a preview of what to expect in your AP course.

​Classes run Monday through Friday for one hour via Google Meet or Zoom, and are led by high-achieving academic students who have already earned college-eligible scores in their AP course. The program briefly covers key concepts in the AP subject to give students a head start.

Students are evaluated based on:

• Attendance and participation

• Quality of assignments

• Quizzes and a final assessment​

 

Attendance is mandatory, and all coursework must be completed to receive a certificate of completion.
